The Week's Editorial Cartoons
Foot Shooters, Far Left Infection, Ghosts of Afghanistan, Some People Did Something, and Cluster Fudge
Part of the reason this is going out late in the day is because of how much I wanted to say about each of the cartoons and topics this week. I’ve included a poll at the bottom that will let me know if in future issues you’d prefer to see:
all of my opinionated rambling for each cartoon or,
just a sampling with the remaining available via link, as in this issue.
Check out a link or two to see how it flows. The poll will include the ongoing tally.
Thanks
Foot shooters
One thing that irritates many persuadable voters is Trump’s propensity to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. When Democrats say or do something colossally stupid, Trump follows it up with his own hold-my-Diet-Coke moment…
Far Left Infection
In medicine and politics… be wary of those things progressive.
The far left takeover of the Democratic Party has been going on for some time, largely unnoticed, but becoming more evident. Consider the recent spotlight on Zohran Mamdani’s recent elevation to mayor of the largest and most influential city in America. That spotlight has served to create its own kind of wakeup call.
Democrats brought a baby spotted hyena into the house and now, surprise, 80 of his closest friends want in. (Or was AOC the hyena cub?)…
Ghosts of Afghanistan
If you measured the Biden legacy in lives lost and families destroyed, Afghanistan wouldn’t be the place to start, but it smacked us in the face with a very public display of insanity and incompetence in 2021. It encompassed two of the administration’s major failures, the haphazard withdrawal itself and the broader immigration debacle…
Some People
Ilhan Omar sponsored the 2020 MEALS Act, which helped enable some of the $1B Minnesota fraud. Plus her closeness to many of those connected to this controversy are numerous and include:
- Guhaad Hashi Said, campaign staffer. Ran a fake nonprofit (Advance Youth Athletic Development) claiming 5,000 daily child meals; stole $3.2M via ….
Blast from the Past - Cluster Fudge
This cartoon is from 2021 when it became clear what a debacle the withdrawal was turning into.

More Cartoons, please. The memory of years gone by is strong. The only thing missing is the smell of the newsprint and the ink on my fingers at the breakfast table.
Results are in. By a 60/40 margin, the text accompanying the cartoons will be included directly in each newsletter.
